Senate Resolution No. 4

Helmick, Ross, Deem, Grubb, Wooton and Jackson)
Commemorating the centennial of the Children's Home Society of
West Virginia.
Whereas, Children are the most valuable resource of West
Virginia and embody the traditions and heritage of this great
state, and represent the aspirations and future of West Virginia;
and
Whereas, The safe-keeping, caring and guidance of our
children shall always be preeminent factors in the prosperity of
West Virginia; and
Whereas, Those who are charged with the protection,
oversight and sustenance for our most venerable children are a
valuable asset to West Virginia; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby commemorates the Children's Home
Society of West Virginia in its one hundredth year of dedication
and commitment to the children and families of West Virginia;
and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the Children's Home Society
of West Virginia.
